Mini Makeup Haul

I'm back with another blog post for you guys! Here's a mini makeup haul that was given to me by my block mate, by my friend and the other one was purchased by my own money. I opted not to buy a lot of stuff in the first month of the year. I have this superstition that if I buy, I'll be spending a lot for the whole year! Who else have this kind of superstition? Once a week WANT purchase would be just fine. Take note that I emphasized the word want. You guys probably know what's the difference between wants and needs. Anyway... Let's start with the haul! 

It was actually a Christmas gift from my monito (Kris Kringle) during our Christmas Party. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend our party, so he gave this to me at the start of our second semester. It's actually what I wrote on my wishlist though I clearly specified to order online because I know that Nyx products inside the mall is way more expensive. I got shocked when I opened his gift and found out that he bought it at Nyx counter at Watsons. Nevertheless, I'm so happy! I've been eyeing this product ever-since! The shade, Milan, really suits my skintone though it's quite drying - duhhh! It's matte. I would suggest to exfoliate your lips first or prep your lips (use lipbalm underneath) before applying this for a smooth canvas.

Another gift! Yey! Who doesn't love gifts, right? I was so happy when my friend, Krizka, gave this to me. Though I'm not into eyeshadow, I really appreciated it. The thought that she remembered me during her U.S. trip is just so overwhelming. I might use it when I go to the malls, hang-out with friends, etc.This palette is basically a nude eyeshadow but it's not matte. Lighter ones has more shimmers in it than the dark ones but darker ones is more pigmented. Shimmery or glittery eyeshadow is what I love. I don't know, I just love the fact that I sparkle! *laughs* 

3.) Bobbie Cosmetics Lipstick (Berry Sexy)

This is the one that I've bought because I ran out of lip product in my stash. I'm contemplating whether to get the lip tint of Bobbie Cosmetics or the Lipstick. As a change, I decided to go for the latter. When I look unto the lipsticks, this has the MLBB (my lips but better) shade among the others, so I picked it immediately and ran to the counter and did not even bothered to swatch it at the back of my hand. It's like a nude-ish pink when you just stare at it. But when you applied, it has this berry-ish pink - true to it's name, I guess? I probably make a review about this because it's affordable and it suits the budget of a common Filipina student like me. So watch for it guys! Imagine! 99 pesos for a lipstick?!
